Located at the start of the famous Alaska Highway, this resort
has 16 full-servic sites, 51 with water and electricity hookups,
and 12 dry hookups. Check in-time is open, check-out is at 11 AM.
Maximum RV size is 45 ft. With 30 amp electrical receptacles, air
conditioners and heaters are allowed. All sites have picnic tables
and wi-fi service. Tent camping is offered. Pay phones equipped
with modems are available.
Additional facilities include: toilets and showers in a heated building,
laundry, outdoor pool, pavilion, playground, picnic area, horseshoes,
and a sports field. Dawson Creek is located at the junction of four
major highways and is a good resting spot before tackling the “Alcan
Highway.” The town is an agriculture community with rolling
hills, forests, scenic attractions, and wildlife. Campground located
at mile 1.5 of the Alaskan Highway.
