Sunset Lakes Resort

Two riverboats docked in Iowa and one in Illinois offer exciting riverboat gambling just minutes from Sunset Lakes Resort in the Quad Cities, USA community of Moline and Rock Island, Illinois, and Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa. Of course the riverboat cuisine is also some of the finest and best priced in the area. While in this area, you’ll want to visit the Bishop Hill Colony Church. The colony was first established in 1846, but today in this tranquil place you’ll still see people dressed in 19th-century apparel. The Bishop Hill Museum houses the works of painter Olof Krans who depicted life in the Bishop Hill Colony Church, which was a commune during his time. The museum provides an interesting and detailed history of the colony and the Swedish religious dissenters who founded the colony. Don't forget to visit the John Deere Pavilion, a museum dedicated to the history of John Deere tractors.
